Los Angeles, CA — March 25, 2025 — Evercast, leading provider of remote collaboration solutions for the media and entertainment industry, announced its membership in the MovieLabs Industry Forum, joining the inaugural group among other top innovators in the media and entertainment industry.
MovieLabs, the technology joint venture of the major Hollywood studios, launched the Industry Forum to convene media and technology companies that are actively supporting and implementing the MovieLabs 2030 Vision and driving next generation media production and creativity.
The prescient MovieLabs 2030 Vision, originally published in 2019, outlined predictions for the future of media creation, including expansion in remote collaboration and the emergence of new workflows that make content creation more productive and efficient. Evercast is not only inherently aligned with this narrative, but it has also played a meaningful role in driving the vision forward in the industry.
The Evercast platform combines secure video conferencing and high-resolution content streaming, allowing production teams to work together in real time, from pre- to post-production and beyond. Teams at every major film and television studio use the platform to collaborate. It has been used on countless productions, including tentpoles such as Wicked, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Dancing with the Stars, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
MovieLabs and its studio members (Paramount Pictures Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal City Studios, The Walt Disney Studios, and Warner Bros. Entertainment) will be joined by Adobe, Amazon Web Services, Avid, Dolby, DreamWorks Animation, and Skywalker Sound in the Forum’s Leadership Council. Renowned creative technology executive Leon Silverman has been appointed as Chair.
