Scottsdale, AZ – February 19, 2024 – Evercast, the leading real-time collaboration platform for creative professionals, announced it is debuting its new app for Apple Vision Pro today, to be showcased at the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) Tech Retreat’s Innovation Zone in Rancho Mirage, CA.
Evercast is a secure, real-time collaboration software that combines video conferencing with high resolution, color-accurate content streaming. With security approval from every major Hollywood studio, Evercast has been used in the production of thousands of tentpole projects, including Avatar: The Way of Water, Top Gun: Maverick, The Last of Us, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
Evercast for Apple Vision Pro enables users to work with their teams in life size, and securely review content in immersive full screen with spatial audio. Users can join an Evercast session as participants, or they can actively stream content from the headset into the Evercast room. Users have full control over their virtual workspace layout, balancing between stream views and participant webcams, and can draw or annotate on screen to share notes with specificity. The app is ideal for remote location scouting, visual effects reviews, live editing, final color review-and-approve, or even creating content for Apple Vision Pro itself.
An early adopter of Evercast for Apple Vision Pro, director Jon M. Chu shared his review organically on X on February 5, 2024: “I edited #WickedMovie remotely with my editor #MyronKerstein on @EvercastUS and it worked flawlessly. I need to repeat this out loud. I was in it for HOURS editing on a virtual giant screen (the size of a real movie screen) a major motion picture from the comfort of my house. With no headache. I can’t tell you what a revelation this was. This is big stakes cutting edge productivity work that is available to use today! I am still shook. I don’t think people fully realize the amount of workflow breakthroughs I think the Vision Pro will lead to. This is not an ad. Just me being excited about technology and creativity. Hail to the nerds and artists.”
