IBC 2024 showcased the latest technology in media and entertainment and highlighted the industry's progression towards the 2030 MovieLabs vision. The event was a platform for companies to showcase cutting-edge technology and solutions that are shaping the future of media and entertainment. It was an honor for Evercast to exhibit among such creativity and innovation.
One of the key trends at IBC 2024 was the focus on remote collaboration and real-time feedback tools. These solutions are revolutionizing the way content creators work together, enabling seamless collaboration across different locations and time zones.
Additionally, the industry's move towards the 2030 MovieLabs vision was evident in the discussions and presentations at the event. Companies are increasingly adopting new technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and immersive experiences to create more engaging content and enhance the viewer experience.
Evercast had a successful presence at IBC 2024, where we highlighted our new feature collaboration with Nagravision. The team at Evercast worked closely with Nagravision to showcase our new cutting-edge forensic watermarking technology. We also unveiled our upcoming premium product, Evercast Suites, and opened applications for the Suites beta program, where users can enjoy complimentary access to Suites ahead of the launch.
As the name suggests, Evercast Suites gives Evercast users a full upgrade to the signature Evercast experience. We've added tools such as forensic watermarking, protecting your IP on another level; Theater mode, which gives users the ability to have up to 100 viewers and keep your entire production or company on the same page throughout the journey of making content; and finally, App Share, where we bring the applications you use most to the Evercast platform so you don’t need to have six different applications open on one machine. App Share relieves the burden on your machine, eliminates half the latency of screen share, and allows us to integrate the tools you want at a much quicker pace.
App Share also brings a whole new level of remote collaboration with shared mouse and keyboard functionality, so the streamer can decide to let others in the room take control of the application they have launched. For instance, if you have two animation editors working on a scene, now both can access SyncSketch remotely and work together on their project, to meet deadlines from the comfort of their own homes.
Or, let’s say you’re on a tight deadline for a commercial and you’ve gone back and forth with your producer on the latest edit; now it’s time to hop into your virtual Suite and add the final touches together. Editor and producer can now both control the playback of Frame.io without having to open it on each of their machines and screen share in. This lets them quickly finalize the last cuts, get a version uploaded, and send to the client for approval.
Evercast Suites is changing the collaboration game, and we’re so excited for you to have a sneak peek. Learn more about Evercast Suites and/or request beta access here.
Overall, IBC 2024 highlighted the industry's commitment to innovation and collaboration, as companies continue to push boundaries and embrace new technologies to drive the industry forward. For Evercast, it was also a catalyst for new partnerships and opportunities, setting the stage for an exciting future in the industry.
